COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic for those 65 and Older
Camp County and the City of Pittsburg will host a Vaccine Clinic conducted by Military personnel on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, for those people 65 years of age and older.
WHO CAN GET THE VACCINE?
This clinic is targeting those people 65 and older.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
Everyone must register for this clinic beforehand. There are two ways to register: Telephone the Pittsburg City Hall at 903-856-3621 or On-line at http://bit.ly/CampCountyVax0324
Once registered, someone from the Camp County government will contact those who registered with a time to appear for the vaccine to be administered. Show up at that time and there will be a little paperwork to complete, the vaccine shot will be administered and there will be a 15-minute waiting period to make sure there are no allergic reactions. Emergency medical personnel will be on hand to help monitor and assist if needed.
The clinic will be held at the Ministry Center of the First United Methodist Church located at 209 Mt. Pleasant Street in Pittsburg. Again, you must register first by telephone or on-line. DO NOT JUST SHOW UP at this clinic site without registering.
The first dose of the Pfizer vaccine will be administered on Wednesday, March 24, 2021.
The second dose will be administered on Wednesday, April 14, 2021.
WHAT IF I CAN’T ATTEND THAT DAY or I’M NOT IN THE 65 or OLDER CATEGORY?
If you are not able to attend this clinic or if you are not 65 or older, but are eligible to receive a vaccine, you can still register for vaccines at UT Health Pittsburg Hospital or at other vaccine providers throughout the region.
